Steve, our classmate in Tokyo, is fine.

Date: March 12, 2011 2:34:57 AM MST
To: 'Chih-Hsiung Tu' <Chih-Hsiung.Tu@nau.edu>
Subject: RE: Earthquake

Hi Professor,

Thankfully our immediate area only experienced severe tremors with no apparent damage. My concern is more with nuclear power. I understand the economics, but why would a country challenge mother nature in this way! More as the situation develops. I am watching the news, but in the dark locally as virtually nothing is translated. We do not have local TV and feel somewhat in the dark.

More late,

Steve

Educational Technology Graduate Award

Every year, COE faculty selects students who have shown outstanding achievement in the area of their study. The outstanding student is selected by the Educational Technology faculty and student peers.

The award criteria are based on ETC students’ capstone project creations.  As ETC695 students, you know many our classmates are doing excellent and outstanding work for their capstone projects.  Please nominate our ETC695 students for this award.  Self nomination is encouraged.  All capstone students from fall 2010 and spring 2011 are qualified for this award.

If you would like to nominate anyone, please e-mail me at Chih.T@nau.edu with the name and 100 words descriptions of their creative capstone projects by Thursday, March 10, 2011.  Due to the early graduation application, this year we have very tight frame to complete this award voting process.  The voting will start on Friday, March 11, 2011, and closed on March 14, 2011 at noon, Monday.

Please let’s recognize our peers’ outstanding work.
